The Primal Blueprint Health Challenge: My Competition Entries

Mark Sisson is running a 30 days of competitions over on Mark's Daily Apple, with "Over $6,000 in Prizes". It's being billed as The Primal Blueprint Health Challenge.

I was unable to resist entering a few of them myself, and am including the video and photos I entered below.

Competitions vary from the small (send a photo of your breakfast) to the large (create your own Primal Blueprint workout video.) The prizes aren't too shabby either, with that second example promising the winning entry quite a haul.

There is a list of the competitions, many of which are still open, here. There are more being run every day. Here are my own entries so far:

That had to be the best video I have seen lately! Very creative, (including using Mark's head!, the backround music fit perfect, and what a way to share a recipe! You conveyed all the ingredients, and the steps involved very well. Sure beats reading a recipe off of an index card. By the way, I am going to make these tonight, they look awesome, and I have some zucchini from the garden that would go well with this. I have been reading your blog for sometime now, I do not usually comment, but this was so good I had to! If I were choosing, you would win!

Thanks Diana - hope they turn out well. The hard part is getting the amount of egg right. If your mixture is too runny then it's hard to make it stay 'together'. I suggest adding it bit by bit until you get the right consistency...

Wow - good job - all of them are so creative! I love the 'medicine cabinet' post-it, and I really enjoyed how your video was almost completely non-verbal (just some written words here and there) and silent. That makes it interesting (different than usu. talking head) and also very cross-cultural. Kudos!

Thanks Anon & YG - come back and let us know how you get on.

Thanks BestSelf - the cross-cultural idea was self-conscious to a degree, but I just couldn't find a way to represent the quotes from Mark's Book without words. But at least it would be easier to translate that the Nutshell videos!

Love the video and the recipe! The background music brought back a lot of childhood memories for me - it's from "Take Heart with Tony Hart" right? I'll surely try this recipe. Thanks!

Thanks Mamatha - yes, I think it's actually from 'Vision On' - the music they played when showing the gallery. Also Tony Hart, of course. The tune is called 'Left Bank Two' by The Noveltones...

Thania, very kind of you to say so. I hate being stuck with low bandwidth. I hope at least being in the country is sufficient consolation.
