Paleo/Primal in a Nutshell Videos

I created these to give 5-minute summaries of the principles behind Paleo / Primal living and provide lighthearted, but impactful introductions.

Note that in order to cover the topic succinctly and compellingly, it was necessary to overlook some of the subtleties of the topics. For example - there have been some culture-specific adaptations to dairy, yet this is not reflected in the Food video. Likewise, some hunter gatherers 'persistence hunt' which is, in effect, a long, aerobic exercise session - yet this is not reflected in the Exercise video.

Greetings and health! My name is Lewis Ballard. I'm one of the tribe that posts at The Paleo Garden.

I'm writing to ask your permission to include your "Paleo in a nutshell" food video at our website. On the left hand side of our home page, we have a section on "Evolutionary Canons" which remains fairly static, and the website owner and I would love to include your video, embedded, as a permanent part of the canon. Do we have your permission, sir? Many thanks in advance,

"Uncle Lew"

Uncle Lew - of course, please go ahead - thanks for asking.

Many thanks, sir! I know the videos are quasi-public domain, since they're on Youtube.com, but I prize courtesy above most things in this world, and feel much better about including the video on our site with your permission. Up the revolution!

Some amazing videos there!

100% with you on the diet. I have my heart set on a marathon this year and I think after I've crossed that off the list I will focus more on an all round body workout that will give a more useful functional level of fitness.

Thanks!

Thanks Joe - good luck with the marathon.

Great videos!!!! I enjoyed the dumb ass comments that some people made as if they were the first person to think of this big 'gaping' whole in the theory of eating a paleo diet:) Very good job. I don't know how you keep up with the comments. But 150000 people so going strong!

Cheers Dan. Always a struggle with YouTube to know when to reply and when not to. Not being able to put links in there makes it very hard to rebut some of the less well-considered comments!
